The NEET UG results were announced by the committee on June 13. In order to secure admission to medical or dental colleges in India, aspiring students must partake in the counselling by visiting the official website of MCC, mcc.nic.in.

During this counselling session, eligible candidates are required to register, provide their preferred course and college choices, and submit the necessary fee. Seats will be allocated based on the choices made by the aspirants, their NEET 2023 rank, seat availability, and reservation criteria.

NEET-UG COUNSELLING 2023: HOW TO APPLY

To participate in NEET-UG Counselling 2023, eligible candidates need to complete the registration process by following these steps:

Step 1 – Go to the official website of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) at mcc.nic.in.

Step 2 – On the homepage, click on the “Online Registration” tab.

Step 3 – Next, enter your NEET Roll Number, password, and security pin.

Step 4 – Fill in all the required details, including your name, registration number, personal information, academic details, and NEET result details.

Step 5 – Make the payment of the prescribed fee and submit your registration form.

Step 6 – It is advisable to take a printout of the registration form for future reference.

NEET-UG COUNSELLING 2023: DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

  • NEET 2023 Admit Card
  • NEET Scorecard or Rank Letter
  • Class 10 certificate and mark sheet (for date of birth verification)
  • Class 12 certificate and marksheet
  • ID proof (such as Aadhar card, PAN card, Driving License, or Passport)
  • Eight passport-size photographs
  • Provisional Allotment Letter
  • Caste Certificate (if applicable)
  • PwD Certificate (if applicable)

      dmission process:
      The counselling for admission to MBBS courses in JIPMER Puducherry and Karaikal
      campuses will be conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), Directorate
      General of Health Services, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India
      based on the NTA NEET 2023 All-India scores.

      The candidates should bring the following at the time of admission within the stipulated
      time period, failing which, admission will be denied:
      • All the certificates in original (as given in the list below)
      • One set of self-attested photocopies of all the certificates
      • Three Passport-size recent colour photographs

      List of certificates to be submitted at the time of admission:
      1. Identity proof (as mentioned in the NTA NEET 2023 Information Bulletin).
      2. Admit Cards of Exam issued by NTA.
      3. Result/ Rank letter issued by NTA.
      4. Provisional allotment letter generated on-line.
      5. Proof of Date of Birth (Birth Certificate or X Std. Certificate).
      6. Pass Certificate of the qualifying examination.
      7. Statement of marks of the qualifying examination.
      8. Character and Conduct Certificate from the Head of the Institute last studied.
      9. Residence Certificate issued by Revenue Authority not below the rank of Tahsildar
      /Aadhaar card.
      10. In case of Other Backward Classes/ Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe, a Community
      Certificate, recently obtained from the competent authority – (as mentioned in the NTA
      NEET 2023 Information Bulletin)
      11. Economically Weaker Sections (EWSs) candidates should produce the required Income
      & Asset Certificate as (as mentioned in the NTA NEET 2023 Information Bulletin)
      12. Transfer Certificate from Head of the Institution last studied or Migration Certificate.
      13. In case of Puducherry residents, the Residence Certificate / Employer Certificate as
      required in the Prospectus as per Annexure I.
      14. Medical Certificate from the authorized centres as listed in the NTA NEET 2023
      Information Bulletin in case of PwBD Candidate.
