On July 12, 2024, a one-day Mathematics Educational Workshop was held at Trisha PU College, Kalyanpura, Udupi, under the joint auspices of Udupi District PU College Mathematics Lecturers Forum, Trisha PU College Kalyanpura Udupi, and Creative Education Trust. The workshop was inaugurated by Maruthi, Deputy Director of Udupi District PU Education Department, who stated, “Education is the greatest gift. Identifying intellectual hunger in every child and providing adequate solutions should be the professional duty.” Ashwath S. L., co-founder of Creative Education Trust, presided over the program. Other notable attendees included Ganapathi Bhatt K. S., one of the founders, Ramakrishna Hegde, Principal of Trisha PU College, Prashanth, President of Udupi District Mathematics Lecturers Forum, Sudheer Prabhu, Secretary of Udupi District Mathematics Lecturers Forum, and Jagadish, Principal of Perdur Government PU College. The workshop featured expert resource persons such as Satish Naik, Mathematics Lecturer from Honnavar Government PU College, who delivered a lecture on “Blueprint-based Question Paper Preparation.” Dr. Raviprakash V., Assistant Director of Education at Manipal Institute of Technology, spoke on “Integration of Creativity in Classroom Teaching.” Additionally, the Udupi District Mathematics Lecturers Forum conducted a discussion on various educational activities. Mathematics lecturers from various colleges in Udupi district, along with teaching and non-teaching staff of Trisha College, participated in the event. Principal Ramakrishna Hegde welcomed the gathering, while Sudheer Prabhu delivered the vote of thanks. The program was hosted by lecturer Priyanka Tirtharam.
