On July 24, Creative PU College in Karkala organized a ‘Legal Awareness’ information program at the ‘Sapthaswara Vedike’ for its students. Police Sub-Inspector Subrahmanya H., a resource person for the workshop, emphasized that education brings knowledge, which in turn fosters peace and coexistence in society. Police Constable Santosh highlighted the importance of students being aware of their rights and legal knowledge alongside their studies. Principal Vidwan Ganapathi Bhat, who presided over the program, stated that just as air, water, and food are essential for living, legal awareness is equally crucial for living in society. The event was graced by the presence of police officers Ravindra and Ghanashyam as chief guests. The program saw active participation from lecturers, hostel wardens and supervisors, non-teaching staff, and commerce students. Kannada language lecturer Shivakumar welcomed the gathering and hosted the event, while Economics lecturer Umesh concluded the program with a vote of thanks.
